Doorstep criminals active in Dover

We have received a report that a vulnerable Dover resident was targeted by doorstep criminals offering to do work to her roof and fascias.

Look out for:

  • Two men in a black Land Rover Discovery.
  • Cold callers offering to do work on your home.
What to do:

  • If you see the men in your area, please call Kent Police on 101
  • Never open the door to cold callers.
  • Report to Kent Police on 999 if you feel threatened.
  • If you need work done use verified and safe traders on Trading Standards Checked .
  • Always get three quotes before agreeing to any work.

Please warn vulnerable family members, friends and neighbours in the area.
